ARMY LEARNING CENTER (ALC)
ARMY CORRESPONDENCE COURSES - Army correspondence courses are available through the Army Institute for Professional Development. These courses provide service school instruction to military personnel through correspondence study. Individuals participate in these courses on the basis of need for MOS proficiency, career growth and self-development. The
Counselor can provide assistance in determining applicable courses and assists in resolving administrative problems individuals may have with courses or schools.
SELF-DEVELOPMENT MATERIALS - The ALC has materials focused on the self-development pillar of leader development. Some of these materials include:
Study guides for most DANTES tests, ACT/SAT/GRE/GMAT/CLEP/GED
test preparation video programs, FCC test preparation and college catalogs on
the Internet.
Soldiers, family members, and Department of the Army civilians are eligible to use the
ALC. All services at the ALC are free.
