Select any two sessions:

Roles and Boundaries - Where to you fit in?  How do you know when you've stepped outside of your lane?  Find out answer to these questions and more.

Scenarios - Participants will discuss "what if" situations within the FRG, i.e. , My commander will not support me as the FRG Leader.  How do I deal with a "toxic" spouse?  Just what does a successful FRG look like?

Inspections - Learn regulatory requirements, installation policies, and what documents are needed to successfully pass an inspection.

Fundraising - Share and get ideas on fundraising opportunities and learn successful event strategies.

Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS) - Registration, hours submission, system utilization will be discussed.  NOTE: This class will be conducted in Building 29603 on Barnes Avenue at 0930 and 1030.

Childcare - If you need childcare, the point of contact is LaToya Stallings at 706-791-1305.  Children must be registered with and use Child, Youth, and School Service (CYSS).  Childcare costs will be paid by ACS.  Deadline to reserve your slot(s) is 10 August.

Lunch is provided to conference attendees.  Tickets located inside symposium folders at registration.

Pre-Requisite: To participate in the conference, volunteers must either be registered in VMIS or select VMIS as one of their sessions.  To access, go to www.MyArmyOneSource.com and follow these instructions:

  1. Select the hand in the upper right corner, Volunteer Tools.
  2. On the CONUS map, select Georgia.
  3. From the Georgia listing, select Fort Gordon.
  4. Select the organization or affiliation of where you'd like to volunteer from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select the specific program for which you are looking from the second drop-down.
  6. Select the volunteer position for which you would like to apply.
  7. Review the position description and select apply.
