The Fort Gordon Military Police have two D.A.R.E Officers

Staff Sergeant John C. Reber
Hi, my name is John C. Reber. I'm the D.A.R.E. officer for Glenn Hills Elementary School, Augusta, Georgia. I have been a Military Police Officer for seven years. During this time, I've held several different positions including working road patrol and investigations. This is my second year as a D.A.R.E. officer, and my first at Ft. Gordon. Drugs and violence never solved any problems. If confronted with any of these, weigh the consequences, then just say "No." If you need help, ask a friend, a parent, a teacher, or someone you can count on.

Sergeant Derwin R. Jackson Sr.
Hello, I'm Sgt Jackson. I have been in Law Enforcement for about twelve years, ten of which has been with the US Army Military Police Corps. I enjoy working with children, I have coached little league sports for the last 15 years, and I have three boys of my own. Teaching D.A.R.E. has given me an even better opportunity to work with children. I strongly believe the D.A.R.E. Program, with the help of educators, parents, and the community, is an excellent program to keep kids from ever using and trying drugs.
