Fort Gordon Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization, & Security

The Directorate of Plans, Training, and Mobilization serves as the Garrison Commander's principal operations staff office for current operations, contingency planning, and training management.

• DPTM Plans and Operations Division is responsible for all Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection planning for the Installation and updates all planning procedures for Fort Gordon.
  
  
• DPTM Plans and Operations Division is responsible for activating the Installation Operations Center in response to emergency situations to include but not limited to natural disasters, criminal, and terrorist threats and oversees; and tasks personnel for support of all ceremonies conducted on this installation. These ceremonies include but are not limited to post retirement ceremonies, funeral details, holiday celebrations, and special events.

Plans Division

We are  located in Darling Hall, Bldg 33720, Room 300 and 312.  Our normal duty hours are 0730-1600 M-F.

Our mission is to support:

• Develop and coordinate all contingency OPLANS
• Force Protection / Anti-terrorism Plans
• Severe Weather
• POTUS Support
• Events and programs MOIs
• Coordinate on-post and off-post schools
• Centrally funded schools
• Company Commander / 1SG Course
• Mobilization / HAZMAT / Air Load Courses
• ISCTC Support
• CBRNE / NBC Courses
• Conduct Installation Consolidated events IPRs at 1330, 2d and 4th Wednesdays monthly
• Coordinate MILAIR requests
• Manages Casualty Assistance and Notification Lotteries each Quarter
• Manages Installation Support Platoon
• Coordinates Off Post Event Support
• Conducts Community Information Briefings (middle Wednesday monthly, 1130 hrs at Gordon Club)
• Facilitates Quarterly S2 / 3 Conferences
• Management of UICs
• OPSEC Awareness Training
