Fort Gordon Directorate of Public Works (DPW)

Welcome to the Directorate of Public Works (DPW's) website.  We are a multi-divisional directorate.  We function as a key installation manager and, as such, provide advice and assistance to the Commander, U.S. Army Signal Center and Fort Gordon on matters pertaining to staff responsibility for planning and directing  engineering activities, including real property management, environmental protection, and management of other related installation support actions involved in assuring the effective training of personnel.  DPW administers the base support for engineering  activities, establishes policies, reviews performances, and provides acceptances of contractor services.

Water Conservation

A SPCCP for a facility is prepared and implemented as required by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations contained in Title 40, CFR, Part 112 (40 CFR 112). A non-transportation-related facility is subject to SPCCP regulations if a single aboveground tank has a storage capacity greater than 660 gallons; or the total aboveground storage capacity exceeds 1,320 gallons or the underground storage capacity exceeds 42,000 gallons; and if, due to its location, the facility could reasonably be expected to discharge oil into or upon the navigable waters of the United States.
