Directions

From Gate 1: Enter Gate 1 and follow Chamberlain Avenue until you come to the second intersection with a stoplight. Make a left turn on Rice Road. Follow Rice Road until you come to the first light and take a right onto Barnes Ave. Take a right on 26th Street and pull into the first parking lot on your left. The Marine Detachment is located on the right, in Building 25707. After hours call the Command Duty Officer (CDO), number ((706)399-1888). This number is also posted on the front hatch of building 25707.

From the Airport: The current rate for a single passenger taking a taxi to the Marine Detachment from Bush Field is around $20.00. If renting a car, exit Bush Field airport by following the signs to Tobacco Road. Go straight at the stop light staying on Tobacco Road. Follow Tobacco Road until you come to the fifth stoplight, stay to your left, after crossing Highway 1 on the overpass you come to Gate 5. (See Note below) Enter Gate 5 follow Avenue of The States Road to a four way stop intersection, where you will need to stay in the right hand lane and veer right. This road now becomes Rice Road. At the second light, take a left onto Barnes Ave. Take a right on 26th Street and pull into the first parking lot on your left. The Marine Detachment is located on the right, in Building 25707. After hours call the CDO, number ((706)399-1888). This number is also posted on the front hatch of building 25707.

From Gate 2: Enter Gate 2 and follow 19th Street, you will come to a stop light with a recycle center on your right. Turn left onto Chamberlain Avenue. Make a right onto 26th Street. Go through the first stop sign and pull into the parking lot on the right hand side with Burger King on your left. The Marine Detachment is located on the right, in Building 25707. After hours call the CDO, number ((706)399-1888). This number is also posted on the front hatch.
