Not-so Family friendly movies Apparently, you all really liked last week’s column. This makes me happy. So, why not run a good thing into the ground with another list? This time, in honor of Veteran’s Day, I offer you my Top 5 favorite military-related movies. The hardest part about doing these lists is that so often, many of the films are classic. They aren’t just my favorites. They’re everybody’s favorites. This means there’s a lot of critiques already out there and coming up with something unique to say is very difficult.

 The annual Benefits Open Season will run from Nov. 9 through Dec. 14. During this period, civilian employees have the opportunity to make elections or changes in three benefits programs:

NEWS UPDATE ---- In support of the Georgia Power Co. high voltage transmission line expansion, the following closure is scheduled. On 30 Aug 09, from 1500hrs thru 1600hrs, the inbound and outbound lanes of Gate 1, between the Gate 1 Guard House and Gordon Highway, will be closed. Inbound traffic will be directed to Gate 2. Outbound traffic will be directed to Gates 2 & 5. For additional information, please call DPW point of contact, Mr. Arthur, at 791-6183.
