Fort Gordon Training Division

The Fort Gordon Training Division, (TD) is under the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security, (DPTMS).  TD integrates the Department of the Army’s Training Support System and other training enablers in support of the Army’s individual and collective training programs to provide a realistic live/virtual training environment.  TD is comprised of three branches, Range Control, Schools and Support, and Training Support Center, (TSC).

The TD mission is to provide quality, relevant and sustainable training support services, resources, and capabilities that enable commanders to achieve training objectives.

Training Support Center

The Fort Gordon Training Support Center, (TSC) is a branch of the Training Division, (TD), Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security, (DPTMS).  It is a full service training device support activity, comprised of three sections, which are Fabrication, Multimedia Visual Information Center, (MVIC), and the Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations, (TADSS).  TSC has served as one of the Department of the Army's largest and most diverse regional TADSS production facilities, and has provided this service in excess of forty years.

TSC Mission

• The TSC mission is authorized IAW AR 350-38, Training Device Policies and Management and AR 5-9, Area Support Responsibilities.
• Serves as one of DA's largest and most diverse regional device production facilities providing support to DOD units and federal agencies with responsibility for world-wide distribution.
• Supports tenant command training aids and device requirements.
• Providing warehousing, loan and issue of TADSS and GTAs including MILES (current generation)
• Manages, maintains and provides training for Simulators (CFFT, EST-2000 weapons trainers, HEAT, LMTS, IEDES, & Warlord/CREW-1).
• Manage & account for all installation TADSS.
• Serves as the Installation Manager for implementation of DA/G-6 and IMA Visual Information Policy and procedures.
• Manages the operation of a full service integrated VI/TSC activity as authorized by Army G-3/G-6.
• Installation purchase approval authority for all installation AV/VI equipment costing $49.0K or less.
• Provides regional video production and documentation in support of IMA/SERO directed projects.

Location

Training Support Center Headquarters is located in Bldg # 15303 at the corner of 15th Street and Lane Avenue.  It is across from the Reserve Center and the Bingo Palace.  Normal office hours are Monday through Friday from 0700-1530 hrs.  For after hours emergencies contact the Installation Operations Center (IOC) OIC/NCOIC at COMM 706-791-9747.
